Sevens Around the Sun

At first, we were attracted because we found each other

open-minded

unique

artsy

eccentric

silly

a bit wild

quirky

Our relationship grew when we found each other

endearing

interesting

attractive

intelligent

talented

fun

thoughtful

Through time, we shared

picnics

concerts

dinners

dog walks

holidays

nights out

celebrations

In mid-life, our special moments come when we

listen to old music CDs

have long conversations

wake up with coffee

hold each other in silence

tell jokes

cook and clean together

take mid-day naps

And when we get even older, we will

Smile over old photos

Support each other when our footing is unsteady

Eat supper

Love each other despite wrinkles

Reminisce over old times

Bring each other things that relieve our ailments

Find joy things much simpler

The sevens have been wonderful.
